Preliminary License Proposal

Douglas PUD intends to file a Preliminary License Proposal (PLP) to FERC no later than 150 days prior to the deadline for filing its final license application. The PLP is a requirement of the Integrated Licensing Process (ILP) and will describe the following:

  • The existing and proposed Wells Project facilities;
  • The existing and proposed Wells Project operation and maintenance plan;
  • The measures for protection, mitigation and enhancement for resource areas affected by the Wells Project proposal; and
  • A draft environmental analysis by resource area including information obtained from completion of the study plan.

Since Douglas PUD’s final license application is due to FERC by May 31, 2010, the PLP will be available on this website at least 150 days prior to that date.
